This is a motor & transmission mount set of 3 compatible with a 2012-2013 Honda Civic 1.8L with the Automatic Transmission. The transmission mount and torque strut mounts are only compatible with the automatic transmission models. This set is not compatible with the 1.5L Hybrid model, or the 2.4L SI model. Replacing broken mounts will prevent other components such as ground cables, wire harnesses, air conditioning lines, CV axles, and other components from wearing prematurely, or becoming damaged as the engine rocks excessively. Typical symptoms of a bad engine mount are thump, bang, & clunk sounds while accelerating, braking or turning. Other symptoms include unusual or excessive vibration. Keep in mind there are many other components that can cause these symptoms however. Often times, many do not notice anything as these type of parts gradually wear out over time. One broken mount will cause the remaining mounts to be stressed, and wear prematurely. New engine mounts will allow your engine to be secured in place properly.
