This is a set of motor mounts for your Eclipse or Galant with the 3.0L V6. This set is for the automatic transmission models only. Engine mounts for these Mitsubishi vehicles can break over time from age, stress, and even oil leaks. Replacing them will ensure other components such as ground cables, wire harnesses, air conditioning lines, etc. won't get damaged from the engine physically moving around. Typical symptoms of a bad engine mount are a "thump" sound when stepping on the gas. This may not always be the case however. Many don't notice anything as the part slowly wears out.
