This motor mount set for the above Mitsubishi vehicles is for the automatic transmission models. These will not fit manual transmission models because the transmission mount (EM312) is different for the automatic transmission. The other 3 engine mounts are the same for the automatic and manual transmission. Also, due to the rear mount differences, this is only compatible with 2wd models, and not compatible with all-wheel drive models. These mounts can break over time from age, stress, and even oil leaks. Replacing them will ensure other components such as gound cables, wire harnesses, Air Conditioning lines, etc. won't get damaged from the engine physically moving around. Typical symptoms of a bad engine mount are a "thump" sound when stepping on the gas. This may not always be the case however. Many don't notice anything as the part slowly wears out. New engine mounts will allow your engine to be held in place properly.
