This is a motor & transmission mount set of 3 compatible with a 2003-2004 Ford Focus with the 2.3L only. This is not compatible with the 2.0L models of this year. Engine mounts for the Ford Focus can break over time from age, stress, and even oil leaks. Replacing broken mounts will prevent other components such as ground cables, wire harnesses, air conditioning lines, CV axles, and other components from wearing prematurely, or becoming damaged as the engine moves excessively. Typical symptoms of a bad engine mount are a sound or clunk when accelerating, braking or turning. Other symptms are ususual or excessive vibrations. Keep in mind there are many other items that can cause these symptoms however. Often times, many do not notice anything as these type of parts slowly wear out over time. One broken mount will cause the remaining good mounts to be stressed, and wear prematurely. New engine mounts will allow your engine to be held in place properly.
