This is a rear motor mount for your 3.5L V6 Nissan Altima, Maxima, Murano, or Quest with the VQ35 motor. Remember to check the year of your Nissan as this mount does not fit every single Nissan with the 3.5L VQ35 engine. This mount does not come with the sensor. You may re-use the sensor from your old motor mount. The 3.5L Nissans are known for breaking motor mounts. This motor has a lot of torque, and the mounts are what we consider to be sensitive due to the sensor. When the engine is at higher RPMs, the sensor will initiate an actuator stiffening up the mount. When the engine is at idle, the actuator will retract, softening up the mount for a smooth idle. This constant stiffening and softening up causes the mounts to wear out sooner. When the mount in your Nissan breaks, we also recommend checking the main ground cable. This cable goes from the negative terminal on the battery to the transmission. If this cable breaks, it can cause all sorts of electrical issues. A broken motor mount could allow the mount to move enough to break the cable. Typical symptoms of a bad engine mount are a "thump" sound when stepping on the gas. New engine mounts will allow your engine to be held in place properly.
