This is a rear motor mount for your 2013-2017 Honda Accord with the Automatic CVT Transmission 2.4L or 2015-2020 Acura TLX 2.4L with the Automatic transmission. This mount is not compatible with any manual transmission models. The Honda Accord CVT transmission is listed as an automatic CVT transmission. We included the term CVT to prevent any confusion. The 2.4L Acura TLX has an 8 speed dual clutch transmission. This is also labeled as automatic as well.
Replacing broken mounts will prevent other components such as ground cables, wire harnesses, air conditioning lines, CV axles, and other components from wearing prematurely, or becoming damaged as the engine rocks excessively. Typical symptoms of a bad engine mount are thump, bang, & clunk sounds while accelerating, braking or turning. Other symptoms include unusual or excessive vibration. Keep in mind there are many other components that can cause these symptoms however. Often times, many do not notice anything as these type of parts gradually wear out over time. One broken mount will cause the remaining mounts to be stressed, and wear prematurely. New engine mounts will allow your engine to be secured in place properly.
