This is an upper transmission mount for your 2004-2008 Acura TSX 2.4L This is for the automatic transmission. This is because upper transmission mounts for Hondas and Acuras of this generation are strikingly similar in appearance, but not the same, and are not all interchangeable. This mount can break over time from age, stress, and even oil leaks. This mount carries the transmission, which is much lighter than the engine. It is often neglected over the main front, rear, and timing chain side engine mounts. Because of this, many owners may replace just the main mounts only, leaving bad transmission mounts. This can shorten the life of the larger engine mounts. Replacing this mount will ensure other components such as ground cables, wire harnesses, air conditioning lines, etc. won't get damaged from the engine physically moving around.
