This is an upper torque motor mount for the 2006-2010 Honda Civic. The upper engine mount is longer than the lower mount. This is for the automatic Civic ONLY. The manual transmission uses a different type of torque strut mount, which we also offer. These torque strut mounts can break over time from age, stress, and even oil leaks. Replacing them will ensure other components won't get damaged from the engine physically moving around. Typical symptoms of a bad engine mount are a "thump" sound when stepping on the gas. This may not always be the case however. Many don't notice anything as the part slowly wears out. New engine mounts will allow your engine to be held in place properly.
