If you're wondering, yes, the VW Routan runs on the same body as the Dodge Caravan, and uses the same Pentastar 3.6L engine. The Ram C/V Is basically a Caravan as well, but the cargo version. The 3.6L DOHC Pentistar V6 is used in all of these vehicles. This rear mount will fit All-wheel drive Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country models, but it will NOT fit All-wheel drive Journey models, which use a different sized aluminum mount. Some catalogs may classify this mount as a transmission mount because of the location, so keep this in mind. This Replacing broken mounts will prevent other components such as ground cables, wire harnesses, air conditioning lines, CV axles, and other components from wearing prematurely, or becoming damaged as the engine rocks excessively. Typical symptoms of a bad engine mount are thump, bang, & clunk sounds when accelerating, braking or turning. Other symptoms include unusual or excessive vibrations. Keep in mind there are many other items that can cause these symptoms however. Often times, many do not notice anything as these type of parts slowly wear out over time. One broken mount will cause the remaining mounts to be stressed, and wear prematurely. New engine mounts will allow your engine to be held in place properly.
