This is a torque strut mount compatible with a 2000-2007 Ford Focus with the 2.0L and 2.3L engines and automatic transmission. This is compatible with all United States domestic market models and trims from 2000-2011. This also fits the 2010-2013 Transit connect with the 2.0L engine. Engine mounts for the Ford Focus & Transit connect can break over time from age, stress, and even oil leaks. Replacing broken mounts will prevent other components such as ground cables, wire harnesses, air conditioning lines, CV axles, and other components from wearing prematurely, or becoming damaged as the engine moves excessively. Typical symptoms of a bad engine mount are a sound or clunk when accelerating, braking or turning. Other symptms are ususual or excessive vibrations. Keep in mind there are many other items that can cause these symptoms however. Often times, many do not notice anything as these type of parts slowly wear out over time. One broken mount will cause the remaining good mounts to be stressed, and wear prematurely. New engine mounts will allow your engine to be held in place properly.
