Engine mounts for the 1998-2001 Honda CRV can break over time from age, stress, and even oil leaks. This set of motor mounts will not fit the automatic transmission Honda CR-V. The automatic CR-V uses a different large LH mount. Replacing the motor mounts in your Honda CR-V will ensure other components won't get damaged from the engine physically moving around. Typical symptoms of a bad engine mount are a "thump" sound when stepping on the gas. This may not always be the case however. Many don't notice anything as the part slowly wears out. New engine mounts will allow your engine to be held in place properly.
