Ignition Coils for 2008 Saab 9-3

The 2008 Saab 9-3 has individual ignition coils. Unlike the older Saabs with the cassette style ignition coil, these ignition coils can be replaced one by one. If the coils on your Saab 9-3 have never been replaced, it is best to replace all 4 at the same time. We have the ignition coils available for your Saab at an unbeatable deal. We get our low prices mainly because we purchase several hundred (even several thousand sometimes), at a time. Bad ignition coils can cause the engine to misfire. This can be felt at "stumbling" or "hiccupping". Common error codes are P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, and P0300. Continue on to see the quality discount ignition coils.

Symptoms of a bad ignition coil in a 2008 Saab 9-3

Common symptoms for a bad ignition coils in a 2008 Saab 9-3 are misfire codes, a rough running engine, a check engine light, etc. Many owners explain the feeling of a misfire like the car is sputtering along. If it only occasionally misfires, then you may feel these symptoms here and there while driving; especially while putting the engine under a load (acceleration, driving uphill, etc). Common misfire codes are P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0305, and P0306. The last 2 codes for the V6 Saab. Replacing these ignition coils is pretty easy. The only part that is intimidating is the price of the coils. These can run $100 or more for each ignition coil. We have all 4 coils for much less than you would see at the local auto parts store or dealer. Plus our ignition coils come with a lifetime warranty.

Replacing all of the coils in your Saab 9-3

If your mechanic has been telling you to change all of you coils, they are probably right in saying so. The only exception to this is if the coils have been replaced within the past 5 years. If they are around the 7 year or older mark, and one fails, it's best to change them all. Many owners report more than one coil failing within just weeks of each other. A few have reported coils going bad within days. Buying the full set allows you to get the job done right the first time, and save money on the bundle of coils. Our coils are designed to work with the Saab system, unlike other aftermarket ignition coils that may cause the check engine light to turn on with a P0351, P0352, P0353, P0354, P0355, or P0356 code showing. These coils have the ICM (ignition coil module) built into them. The main vehicle computer monitors the voltage and if the voltage the ICM is showing is not within it's required range, it will show a check engine light, even if there is no misfire. Our coils were designed with properly tuned ICMs.
