Ignition Coils for 2004 Saab 9-3

The 2004 Saab 9-3 has 4 independent ignition coils in its 2.0L Turbocharged B207R engine. Many refer to these are coil on plugs, or abbreviated as "cop" (coil on plug). When one of these fails, the rest are likely to follow if they are all 7 years or older. Replacing these coils can be very expensive at the local auto parts store or dealership. We've heard some places charging up to $100 for each coil! That's a lot more than most of us can afford to spend on just coils alone. We solve this problem by buying large amounts at once, and skipping the middle man. This allows us to sell the same quality aftermarket parts directly to you at incredible prices. Not to mention, we offer a lifetime warranty, good for as long as you own your 2004 Saab 9 3. Keep in mind the 2004 Saab 9-3 does not use the DIC cassette style like many other Saab models. These use the individual coil on plugs.

Common symptoms of a bad ignition coil in a 2004 Saab 9-3

There are a few symptoms of a bad ignition coil. One obvious one is a rough running engine. It may feel like the car is chugging along. Others describe this as skipping. This is usually accompanied by a check engine light. Common OBDII codes are P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0355, and P0356. For the Saab specifically, you may also notice ignition coil primary/secondary circuit malfunction codes like P0351(Coil A), P0352(Coil B), P0353 (Coil C), P0354 (Coil D), P0355 (Coil E), and P0356 (Coil F). While normally this is an indicator that there is a break in the wiring somewhere, for Saabs, this could also indicator a bad igniter, which is built into each ignition coil. This means the coil needs to be replaced. This is when you may get a check engine light, but no misfire symptoms at all. This is something to keep an eye on with the Saab 9-3.

Quality of our ignition coils for Saab

These cars are quite sensitive with the parts they use, and many owners have experienced buying aftermarket coils that worked, but still caused a check engine light. Our ignition coils are built to the same specifications as the original equipment coils, meaning that they will not interfere with the ECU in your 2004 Saab 9-3. If you do happen to run into a defective coil, we offer a lifetime warranty which covers each coil, and all shipping back and fourth. We stand behind our products and our offer. Just see what our customers say about us on our reviews page and all around the internet.
