2011 Grand Marquis Coil Pack

2011 Mercury Grand Marquis Ignition Coil Packs

2011 was the last year the grand Marquis was offered. It still came with the sold 2v 4.6L V8 and still uses 8 individual ignition coils. Many Grand Marquis owners notice that the coil packs at the local store can be very pricey. We are here to solve this problem. We have the full set of 8 high quality coil packs for the price of 1 local ignition coils many times. This isn't because the quality of our products is crap. Our prices are so low because we purchase a very large quantity at once, allowing us to get the same or better quality auto parts at special wholesale prices, and pass the savings on to you. It is generally recommended to replace all 8 ignition coils at the same time in your Mercury Grand Marquis. This can be expensive if you are spending $60 on each ignition coil. We are well known for offering quality, low cost ignition coils that work for your budget. DG508 is one of the many original part numbers for these ignition coils. When replacing the ignition coils in your Grand Marquis, we recommend removing the dust and debris around them as thuis can fall into the spark plug holes, and eventually into the cylinders. Compressed air is the best for removing these, but any rag can also get the job done.

2011 Grand Marquis Misfire Symptoms

If  you feel your Grand Marquis skipping, or hiccupping, then you may have a misfire. This can sometimes be accompanied by a flashing check engine light (mainly occurs only when the engine misfires). If you have a solid check engine light on, you can use any basic OBDII scanner to identify the misfire. You will get a code P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0305, P0306, P0307, or P0308. Each number represents the cylinder of the misfire. If you are not sure of the cylinder location, you can check out our cylinder diagram for the 2011 Grand Marquis. You can simply swap and presumed faulty ignition coil pack over to another cylinder to see if the misfire code follows the ignition coil. This is a free/very cheap way to find the problem with your Grand Marquis without having to take it to the shop, or spend a ton of money on a diagnostic. If you feel a misfire, but there's no check engine light, we have a video how-to for that as well.
