We have singles or the full set of 6 at prices that will blow you away. Keep in mind, we work on getting low prices, not low quality. Ignition Coil For 2007 Mazda Tribute

2007 Mazda Tribute Ignition Coil Packs

The 2007 Mazda Tribute was the last year this body style was produced. These came with a 2.3L and a 3.0L engine. Both of these engines used the same style of ignition coils (coil on plug), but different designs. They are not interchangeable, but they are also inexpensive when you shop on Araparts.com. Many local auto parts stores will charge up to $70 for each ignition coil, which is too much for most of us to spend. If you have a faulty coil pack on your 2007 Mazda Tribute, and the rest of the coils are old, it's likely you will need to replace all of the ignition coils in the vehicle. Older ignition coils tend to fail within a short period of time from one another, and purchasing the full set saves most people a substantial amount of money over buying the single $70 each coil packs at the local auto parts store. Since the V6 takes a little more work to replace the ignition coils, you will be doing things like removing the intake manifold several times. It's best to just replace all 6 at the same time to prevent having to constantly remove the same parts over and over. While it isn't difficult to remove the intake manifold (takes about 10 minutes for most people who have done it before, and about 20-30 minutes for a novice) why would you want to do this over and over again?

2007 Mazda Tribute Misfire Symptoms

If your 2007 Tribute has a misfire, you are not alone. This is a common problem with these and the Ford Escape (same vehicle). You will notice the engine running rough, and giving you a sputtering feeling. You will also notice a check engine light on, or flashing. The check engine light will typically flash when the misfire is the hardest. Occasionally the check engine light will not turn on if the misfire is very occasional. While the PCM computer in the 2007 Mazda Tribute records every single misfire, it does not always turn on the check engine light if it determines that the problem is not severe enough. This is something that can drive people absolutely crazy. Using Mode 6 diagnostics can help you find the misfire, even if there is no check engine light on. We have a full guide on how to do this in a Mazda (uses a Ford engine).
