Ignition Coil For 2003 Ford Expedition All Engines

2003 Ford Expedition Ignition Coil Packs

If you own a 2003 Ford Expedition, you have either replaced a coil pack, or you will be replacing one soon. This is just a weak point in these SUVs. You may also know how much these coil packs cost at your neighborhood auto parts store or dealer if you have visited one recently. Spending $500 or more on new ignition coils is simply just too much money to be spending on this job. These can be found for a lot less, and that is exactly why we are here. Our high quality ignition coils are priced a lot lower than what you'd expect from any local store. It is common to deal with a bad coil pack for your 2003 Ford Expedition. There is no difference between the 5.4 V8 and 4.6 V8 coils packs used between the engines. They both use the DG508 ignition coils. These ignition coils have an angle on the rubber boot, making it easy to identify the right ones. The other models of coil packs for other Fords did not have angled rubber boots. We also offer silicone dielectric grease with our ignition coils to help with keeping moisture away. Silicone dielectric grease also makes it easier to install and remove the coil packs. We recommend using a thin coat on the inside of the bottom of the rubber boot. Many people will pack the boots with too much dielectric grease which can cause issues.

On top of our lifetime warranty, we also offer a full 2 months to return the unused parts. We understand that a misdiagnosis can happen, and would like to offer plenty of time to make sure you know what the problem with your vehicle really is. We also ship our items out very quickly. We ship all orders out by 3:30 pm PST Monday through Friday, and by 1:30 PST on Saturdays, so your item can move on the weekends as well.

2003 Expedition Misfire Due to Water Leakage From Wiper Cowl

The wiper cowl can warp, and the seals can wear out, allowing water to fall on the back ignition coils. You would typically get a code P0303, P0304, or P0307, and P0308. There are the 4 back ignition coils on the 03' Expedition. If water gets down to where the coils are, you will certainly get a misfire. This misfire may be able to be simply cleaned up, but there is a change that the coil pack can be permanently damages as water can short it out. We also recommend to not remove the ignition coils while
