Ignition Coil For 2008 Ford Edge

Ignition Coils For 2007 Ford Edge

The 2007 Ford Edge has a 3.5L V6 and uses individual ignition coil on plugs. It is well known that the PCM (powertrain control module - AKA main computer) can malfunction, causing melted ignition coils. This is not supposed to be wear and tear. The PCM's job is to supply 12v to the coils quickly. When it malfunctions, it leaves the coils on, rather than turning them on and off, melting the ignition coils, and causing a severe misfire. If you are replacing the ignition coils in your 2007 Ford Edge 3.5L V6, and they appear to be melted or burnt, we highly recommend to check and possibly replace your PCM. Replacing ignition coil packs with a bad PCM can cause. We have these ignition coils available for prices that are hard to reach. Why spend several hundred dollars on replacing all 6 coils in your 2007 Edge? Our coils come with a lifetime warranty, and we cover return shipping should you need to use it.

2007 Ford Edge Known For Burning Up Coils and PCM

While we don't sell the PCM modules, we do have high quality aftermarket ignition coils. The cost of these can be through the roof. We have seen each coil pack selling for $50 - and that is on the lower end. Some place charge up to $100 for just one of these. That's just not worth it at all. We have the full set of 6 for an incredible price. We offer a lifetime warranty on our ignition coils because we believe in the quality, we know the track record, and we are sure they will last for years to come. If you need to scan your 2007 Ford Edge, all you need is an OBDII scanner. These tools are very cheap, and will save you thousands of dollars by allowing you to see why your check engine light is on. Shops will charge up to $100 or more just to look at your vehicle. Why not walk in with knowledge?

Misfire symptoms in Your 2007 Ford Edge

If your 2007 Edge is misfiring, you will know immediately. A misfire makes the engine run rough, and will turn your check engine light on. If the misfire is bad enough, your check engine light will flash. A flashing check engine light while your 2007 Edge is misfiring means that there is an immediate need that needs to be resolved ASAP. Driving with a misfire for a prolonged period of time can cause damage to your catalytic converter. While driving short periods of time on a misfire will generally not cause damage (unless your catalytic converter is on its last leg) we still recommend to not drive for a long time. We have heard stories of people driving months, or even years with a misfiring engine. This will cause damage to the catalytic converter and other parts of your engine. We make it affordable to get your ignition coils replaced, and while we don't seem PCMs, we are always happy to refer you to a great place that does.
