This is a front hydraulic motor mount for an Acura TL, MDX, TSX, ZDX, Honda Accord, & Odyssey. This front motor mount is compatible with automatic transmission models. The front motor mount mounts for these Hondas and Acuras takes on the most stress and eventually breaks over time from age, stress, or even oil leaks. The life of the mount can vary greatly depending on how the vehicle is driven. Hard acceleration from a stand still puts the most stress on this particular front motor mount. Replacing them will ensure other components such as gound cables, wire harnesses, Air Conditioning lines, etc. won't get damaged from the engine physically moving around. Typical symptoms of a bad engine mount are a "thump" sound when stepping on the gas. This may not always be the case however. Many don't notice anything as the part slowly wears out. New engine mounts will allow your engine to be held in place properly.
