QTY: 1 = 1 FULL SET OF 8. This is a set of 8 brand new quality Araparts brand ignition coils for your vehicle. They also use copper internal windings, just like the original equipment.

Product Quality:

While most are out to look for the lowest priced item, our goal is to get the right mix of price and quality. For those who may not know what we mean by that, here is what we mean: Yes, we are hundreds of dollars cheaper than DG508 coils at the store, but there are places that still sell cheaper than we do, and their quality is terrible. These particular ignition coils we offer (DG508-M102) have a 5 year track record of a consitent defect rate of under 0.5%. That is the lowest defect rate in the industry for this product at this price range. These ignition coils also come with ferrite inside of the springs, which reduces RFI noise (aka that engine whine you can hear through your stereo speakers). Many of the cheap coils don't even come with ferrite. While we could lower the price to compete with some of the others on Ebay or Amazon, we prefer to offer a product that has an excellent track record of reliability. Of course like any product, these aren't perfect, and if you do experience a bad ignition coil, our warranty covers the bad ignition coil itself, and all back and fourth shipping costs associated with the warrantied item. This is something you certainly won't get on Ebay or Amazon; especially after the item is out of policy time limit. If you are looking for a low cost product that is built to last, you've come to the right place.

This set ships for FREE via USPS Priority 2 - 3 day air to ALL 50 states. This includes Saturday delivery. UPS Ground shipping can be requested if preferred. At, all of our ignition coils are manufactured for us and tested after the manufacturing process. If you have a defective coil, we will pay to return it, and send a replacement over. Easy as a snap. Most people with old coils notice a significant improvement and restoration of vehicle performance and fuel economy.

More information about these:

Ignition Coils for Your Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury (DG508 interchange):

The reference/interchange number for these ignition coils is "DG508". More original part numbers are included in the information above to help as well. These come with a 2.5g packet of silicone dielectric grease. This grease is to be used on the bottom of the inside of each boot where it contacts the spark plug. It is not to be inserted in the 12v plug in connector.  Ignition coils wear out over time. Over the years, high and low temperature changes, humidity, and even bad grounds and electrical problems can cause ignition coils to fail, or not perform at full capacity. This can cause a misfire, also referred to as hiccups or surging. An ignition coil (also referred to as coil pack, coil on plug/COP, coil over plug)  is a crucial part of your ignition system. An Ignition coil is a miniature open circuit power transformer, which converts the 12v in your Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury electrical system into 35,000 volts. The voltage is transferred to the spark plug, and ignites the fuel.

Replacing all 8 Coils in Your Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury V8.

Because all 8 of the ignition coils wear in the same environment, it is usually best to replace old ignition coils all at the same time if they are several years old. This is the same for the coil packs for a Ford 4.6L V8 and coil packs for the Ford 5.4L V8. This will save money or time on labor. Other causes are washing the engine bay, and rain. On some of the E-vans/Econoline, it is known that water from the wiper cowl may leak onto the rear coils. Also, for some of the 1997-2002 5.4L V8 F150 trucks and Expeditions, the wire that leads to the number 8 coil may rub on the fuel pressure regulator and short out. Be sure to check this wire. The DG508 style ignition coil is a commonly replaced item in most of the Ford cars, trucks and SUV. In some instances of minor misfiring on Ford Lincoln or Mercury vehicles, the check engine light will not illuminate. This is because the PCM does not illuminate a check engine light unless the misfire is more than 2.3% of the firing time. It does however still record the misfire. We can help you find these for FREE in our how-to section

Checking vehicle grounds, wiring, and other components such as the vehicle computer (also referred to as the PCM, ECU, or ECM) can also prevent repeated failure of ignition coils and save hundreds, or even thousands of dollars in repairs.

  3. Awesome company Review by Terry

First of all it's been about 2 months since I did all 8 coils in my 02 5.4 Triton f150 SuperCrew XLT. I had issues with number 4 cylinder but decided if I do one and can buy all 8 for the price of one (at AutoZone) then just do them all!! Got this set in 2 days with free shipping and priced with all 8 for what AutoZone quoted for just one! So far so good!! My buddy tested it at his shop and expressed that they are more or less the exact same thing inside as his company sells Motorcraft brand and that all though he couldn't write that on any official document or say it to anyone except to me, he stated that for all practical purposes the two where identical! I absolutely recommend this product and have done so, even with my buddy himself! Good choice shopping people!! Awesome business! And no I didn't work with this company! Just a very happy customer! 2 day free shipping (Smh, how do these people make money?) Thanks guys!!! (Posted on 12/23/2015)

Why are your parts so cheap?

What makes us very different from your local auto parts store and dealership is volume. We are a small company, but whatever item we carry, we carry hundreds, or even thousands of. This allows us to get that same quality auto part as your local aftermarket auto part store, but at a fraction of their prices.
