2008 Toyota Camry Ignition Coil

2008 Toyota Camry Ignition Coils

The 2008 Toyota Camry comes with 2 different engines a 4 cylinder 2AZ-FE, a hybrid version of the same engine 2AZ-FXE, and a 3.5L V6 2GR-FE. Each engine uses an ignition coil on plug set up. This means that there is one ignition coil for each cylinder. The 2.4 Camry has 4 ignition coil packs and the 3.5L V6 has 6 ignition coils. The coil packs on the 2.4 are extremely easy for anybody to change. They sit right on top of the engine. The 3.5 is easy for someone who has basic mechanic knowledge. The 3.5 may seem intimidating for a tune up or ignition coil change because the three firewall side ignition coils are under the intake manifold. Remember that the intake manifold on this car was designed to be easily removed for service, so it's not a major job. beginners can do this in about an hour, and someone who has done this before can do this in under 30 minutes. When doing this job on the 2GR-FE 3.5L V6 Camry, you will also need to replace the 3 intake manifold gaskets (OE number is 17176-0P021). You may also use an aftermarket intake manifold gasket in place. The actual name is "air surge tank gasket" or "intake plenum gasket". As far as the ignition coils go, these can run $60 u to $100 for each ignition coil at the local store. This is simply too much for most families. We have the entire set of 4 of 6 for just about the cost of one of these coil packs at the local auto store.

2008 Toyota Camry Lifetime Warranty Ignition Coils

The ignition coils we offer for your 2008 Camry come with a lifetime warranty. This warranty is good for as long as you own your Camry, and includes shipping back and fourth. We are confident in the quality of our products. Our coil packs are not cheaper because we cut corners. They are cheaper because we purchase large volumes at once. This means we carry several hundred to several thousand ignition coils just for the 2008 Toyota Camry at a time. This allows us to get the best price, and pass these savings on to you. We don't just want to sell you some auto parts however. We want to earn you business with excellent customer service and save you as much money as we can for the entire process. We aren't a mechanic shop, but we are mechanics who still enjoy working on our cars. We encourage you to get ahold of an OBDII scanner if you are not sure what the problem is with your 2008 Toyota Camry. This tool will tell you why your check engine light is on, which is golden whether you work on cars or know absolutely nothing about cars. For example if your 2008 Camry engine is running rough, and you scan it and get a P0301 code, you can look up the code on the internet and know that P0301 is cylinder number one misfire. Simply walking into the mechanic shop with this knowledge can save you from shady mechanics who could lie to you. Or you may have simply left your gas cap open. This will cause a check engine light in your 2008 Camry, and this OBDII scanner can save you a trip to the dealer (which may include long wait times).
