2007 Toyota Camry Ignition Coil

Ignition Coils for 2007 Toyota Camry

The 2007 Toyota Camry  individual ignition coil on plugs. Many people commonly refer to these as coil packs as well. When one goes bad, it is best to replace all of the coils. The 4 cylinder has 4 ignition coils, and the 6 cylinder has 6 ignition coils. Common error codes most owners experience are P030If your Camry has been misfiring, you have come to the right place. We have the entire set of ignition coils at unbeatable prices. Let us know which motor your 2007 Camry has, and our website will guide you to the right ignition coils. Replacing the ignition coils on the 2.4L 4 Cyl Camry is very easy. Replacing the coils on the 3.5L V6 (2GR-FE) engine may look very difficult, but it is not hard at all. The intake manifold comes off without much effort. All you have to do is remove the hoses, and the wiring harness. Then the throttle body and air box. Then the intake manifold will come right off. The three intake manifold gaskets should be replaced when removing the intake manifold (OE number is 17176-0P021). Aftermarket gaskets will work as well. We offer a full set of 4 or 6 coil packs your 2007 Toyota Camry at prices that no local auto store can come close to. We don't do this by cutting down the quality. We do this by purchasing several thousand ignition coils at a single time. This allows us to get the same quality auto parts at a much lower price. You can be assured that you are getting  your money's worth when purchasing.

Diagnosing a Misfire in Your 2007 Toyota Camry

We want to emphasize one important detail when trying to find a misfire. There are a few videos on Youtube that have VERY BAD advice on doing this. Since the Toyota computer does not allow you to unplug the connector (engine will shuf off if it detects a faulty connection), some people recommend to remove the ignition coil bolt, and lift the ignition coil pack up while the engine is running. This method alone can damage the ignition coil, or even the ECU/computer in your 2007 Camry!! The ignition coils must be grounded otherwise the high voltage can surge back up and either blow out the ignition coil or the ECU. This poor method is generally used to diagnose a constant misfire, which can easily be diagnosed with a cheap $10-$20 OBDII scanner. You will get a code ranging from P0301 through P0306. The last number represents the cylinder number of the misfire. You can then swap the ignition coil over to another cylinder to see if the misfire follows the ignition coil. If it does, then you will know for sure that you have a bad ignition coil. If it does not follow the misfire, then you have another issue, but you know for sure that you narrowed your problem down. We want you to save money on the entire process, not just the parts.
