Ignition Coils For Lexus RX450H Hybrid

 

The RX450 actually uses the 3.5L 2GR-FXE. The "X" is used to identify the engine as a hybrid gasoline - electric powered. This 3.5L V6 is almost the same as the V6 used in the regular RX350, except it has an electric motor to assist it. This engine also uses 6 individual ignition coils. A bad ignition coil in this vehicle may be more noticeable since the engine has to constantly start and stop. If the coils are several years old, and one goes bad, it is recommended to replace all 6 at once, as the others may fail soon.
