Ignition Coils For 2002 Ford Explorer

 

The 2002 Ford Explorer has a V6 and V8. The V8 has run into more problems with failed ignition coil packs then the V6. The V6 has 1 coil pack connected to spark plug wires while the 4.6L V8 uses individual coil on plugs (DG508). These are also referred to as coil packs or ignition coils.
