Make sure to select the proper engine
The Saab 9-3 that uses the cassette must be installed properly. Remember that the cassette style ignition coils has oil inside of it to keep it cool. Before installing it, keep it upright for at least 5 minutes before running it. This means after you have installed it, don't start your car for 5 minutes. For the 9-3 with individual coil on plugs or coil packs, you can install and proceed to start vehicle immediately. These individual ignition coils don't have oil in them, but they do have the ICM built into them. Many other aftermarket coils do not communicate with the computer and cause a check engine light to show, even though there is no misfire.
