Lincoln Aviator Ignition Coil Replacement

 

The ignition coils in your Lincoln Aviator are a very commonly replaced part. When they are several years old, and one goes bad, it is recommended to replace all 8 at the same time to save time and money. We have complete sets of 8 with a warranty, and a 2.5g silicone dielectric grease packet. Common misfire symptoms for the Lincoln Aviator are a hiccuping or surging feeling when vehicle is under load (normal accelerating, driving uphill, towing, etc). Sometimes you may get a check engine light if the misfire is bad enough, but other times you may not. This does not mean that the PCM (main computer) still records, and stores the misfire.
